Our Preseason Skills Clinic is an OPTIONAL program. It focuses on the development basic fundamentals and position specific drills prior to season start. Typically, this camp is Coached by varsity high school players. It is an all around neat experience for the participants and opportunity for them to acclimated to the league and football prior to season start.

Our Goal:
To provide a fun, safe, exciting, and competitive football experience for the community of Stockton.
 
League Format:
   - Ages 5-12: 5 vs 5
  - Divisions by Age: 5/6 (6U), 7/8 (8U), 9/10 (10U), 11/12 (12U)
  - All Divisions: 60 Min’s Scheduled – 40 Min Game (Two 20 Min Halves) 

Game Days and Times:
Days: Sunday
Times: 12:00-6:00pm
Younger divisions will play 1st and we will progress to the older divisions. Practices are 1 hour prior to games. Any practices outside of this timeframe will be subject to player availability and organized by coaches. 

Rosters:
  -5 vs 5 Roster sizes will be 6 to 10 players.
  - Please submit friend and coach requests during registration to help us get you on the correct team. 
-Coaches may form a team to compete in the league.

Coaches:
-Head Coaches- Will receive a $75 REFUND upon completion of the season. First come first serve basis for head coaches that register, unless bringing a full team. 
  - Volunteer Coaches (Usually Parents) 
  - Interested in being a Coach! Please use the Volunteer Opportunities option under Registration Information Tab.
  - Practices are held 1 hour prior to games.
  - Coaches meeting: about 1 week before the season start to go over rules and guidelines
  - For those that Volunteer, Gridiron thanks you. 

Schedules and Rosters Timeline:
  - Roster will be released to coaches 2 weeks before the season starts  
  - Playing schedules will be out 1 week before the season starts
 
Gear Guide
Gridiron Football will provide the following so your child can be a superstar on the field:
  • Gridiron Branded Jersey and Shorts
  • Flag Belt
Players will need to provide:
  • Cleats/Shoes (Soccer Cleats work great and come in fun colors)
  • Mouth Guard
  • Water Bottle
  • Soft Shell Helmet (Highly Recommended NOT REQUIRED)
